What are some really wonderful things to do north of Santa Fe (NM) on up to Ojo Caliente?

I don’t have much extra time at all, and am planning to go see the cliff dwellings at Bandelier National Monument and the Georgia O’Keefe Museum.

The whole town of Taos. Don’t miss it..everyone there is
fabulous and there are tons of art galleries, a pueblo right
in the middle of town and a ski valley that’s full of Austrians
in Chalets. It’s a very strange and wonderful place. I’m moving
back. It’s a fairly short trip to Denver and Boulder from there,
just over the mountain..2-3 hours….it’s what Santa Fe used to
be before it got so pretentious. Have a great trip..oh, there’s
the D.H. Lawrence Ranch, Mabel Dodge Museum, etc. and
depending on the dates…a fantastic chamber music festival
that pulls in people like Midori and YoYo Ma. Go on line
to The Taos News to see what’s going on during the time
you’ll be near there..it’s about an hour up the mountain from
Santa Fe and well worth an overnight. A great place!
