biggest national park in california

Big Sur, CA?

I’m just wondering if the Big Sur area of California has the same giant redwoods as Redwoods National Park does? I’m going to be out there in a couple months, and it would be easier to make a stop in Big Sur on my way from San Fransisco to San Diego then it would be to drive 3 or 4 hours north of ‘Frisco to the national park.

It’s almost a six hour drive if you’re coming from SF. There’s Muir Woods, north of SF on the north side of the GG Bridge, there’s Big Basin near Saratoga/Santa Cruz. ANd yes, the trees near Big Sur are huge.
