Elk Island National Park of Canada – Is it worth going there at this time of year?

I will be in Edmonton and would like to go see this place if I will actually see some wildlife.

Yes, any time of year – seeing the bison is incredible! They are also often just out at the side of the road – fenced in, but visible from the highway. Not far away, you should also go to see the Ukrainian Heritage Village – just outside of Edmonton along the same highway.
