Grand Junction Colorado has many interesting places to visit. For instance The Colorado National Monument is a twenty minute drive west of the city. The Monument is full of history, trails, and beautiful rock formations. To the east is The Grand Mesa and is known to be ‘the largest flat top mountain in the world’ with plenty of fishing, hiking, camping and for the winter season, skiing. In addition to, there is also an array of wineries and vineyards spread around the valley. Furthermore, our downtown hosts the Farmers Market which is held Thursday evenings throughout the summer, offering fresh produce grown right here in the valley, live entertainment and shopping. Also recommended is the art on the corner, Colorado’s largest display of outdoor art. Lastly, we also offer Country Jam mid June and Rock Jam early September.

You don’t need to capitalize “the” when your proper nouns are in the middle of the sentence. Other than that you’re missing a couple of commas (second sentence after “for instance”) You also don’t need to have both “lastly” and “we also” in your last sentence.
