national park authority cairngorms
Why is the Cairngorms National Park such a fragile environment?
Also, what sorts of things have negatively impacted the National Park, and how are these being managed by the authorities?
Massive props to whoever answers this to me with even a small amount of detail – it’s all stuff I can use! I just can’t seem to find ANYTHING, ANYWHERE about this topic! (Google hast failed me, and it’s not in my textbooks!)
Try the following keywords ‘aviemore funicular railway environment’ as I found a couple of papers and news articles.
The amount of tourists visiting is something that is being managed- the money is needed for the communities, but it does do a certain amount of damage with their boots, bikes and waste.
