Saudis rising crime rate – disillusionment with its religious and security forces?
Saudi statistics for 2006:
36,609 thefts,
15,492 murders,
11,680 moratity crimes,
2,145 fraunds.
Saudi female undercover security guards prowl hypermarket chains. Saudi women putting items in bags or under their abayas. Female security guards necessitated, males not permitted to body search women.
Security guards incresingly deployed at mosques, malls & parks. Few shoplifters are foreigners, it primarly Saudi women who are main defaulters.
Fraud more common to Saudi nationals and figures indicate rising trend.
Murder rising. Saudis continue to kill each other for the merest slight.
Suadis openly taking issue to the vile treatment of relgious police who continue to publically beat all for the slightest reason. Saudis young yearn for chamge / freedom. The riddance of unelected clerics and their ancient indoctrinated ways – to step out of dictatoship – into the future!
What do you suggect – should and must change in Saudi & the Arab world – to benifit all?
The more Austere & stringent the Measures The more these measures are subject to circumvention.People there are fed up with the too much restrictions and forbids,that is why they retrovert & backslide
