national park gun ban

Is the ammunition shortage madness finally dissipating?

Over here where I live in Houston, Texas ammo prices are returning to normal. I have driven to several gun stores and I was surprised to see .223 and 7.62 x 39 returning to the before “Obama’s gonna ban them madness” prices. 7.62 x 39 brass cased used to cost me 0.55 cents per round when the “madness” was happening, but now I’m paying 0.40 per round for each round.
Obama has signed in approval the law that allows our citizens the right to conceal carry in national parks and public lands, though it’s effect was delayed, I’m surprised to see Obama approving such a law.
I guess that slowed down the panic and is bringing ammo prices back to normal here in Texas. I still haven’t seen gun prices come down, but I hope they will soon. I never expected to see Obama approving the expansion of the right to carry nationwide.

Do you think this ammo shortage hysteria is finally dissipating?

If it is, then thank God. I’m tired of this madness.

Unlike other parts of the USA… Here in upstate New York there were no ammo shortages until about 8 weeks ago…. While others could not get 9MM, .45acp, .380, .223 or 7.62×39mm we had plenty…. There would be a few spot shortages but we could get it…..

Now for some reason this stuff is in short supply here….. Except for the expensive hunting ammo and better grades of the above cartridges there is very little to none of those cartridges available….

So it seems the hysteria finally hit here in full force….

Up here in the north east the gun culture isn’t quite as strong as in the south so a lot of stuff was available here when everywhere else was sold out…..

Rifles and some defense shotguns disappeared off the shelves after the Obama man got elected but ammo wasn’t in short supply…. Now it is…..
