College List: Aiming Too High?

Hey,
Can anyone help me with my college list? I just don’t know whether I am aiming too high or not. Thanks for any input!
GPA: 3.9 (UW)
By end of senior year will have: 5-6 AP and at least one college course at GW University (maybe one at Georgetown)
SAT: 1900 (maybe improve)
Rank: 3 out of 110
Ex:
-Piano
-National Honor Society
-Youth Group
-Volunteer Work for mom’s non-profit organization
- various programs at the National Gallery of Art (basically internship)
-Literary Magazine
- Environmental Club
State Residency: Not In-state for any of schools mentioned

Now College List:
Safety:
St.Marys College of Maryland vs. Mary Washington vs. JMU (haven’t decided which)
Match:
Centre College, UMD-College Park
Reach:
College of William and Mary, Davidson College
Not Sure Where to put: Smith, College of the Holy Cross, Bryn Mawr
Thanks again!

I think you are aiming a little too low.

You should have at least 1 or 2 Ivy or near Ivy schools on your list. Harvard, Brown, Stanford, Georgetown, Penn, etc. You may not get in, but you’re in the ballpark.

Reach: William and Mary, Brown, Georgetown
Midrange: Smith, Holy Cross, Wellesley, Vanderbilt, UMD (since you are out of state)
Safety: Bryn Mawr, St. Mary, JMU

You should aim for at least 2-3 of each. I don’t think 1 safety is enough, the college admit thing can surprise you.

Also check out collegedata.com. You don’t seem to realize how strong an applicant you are.
