B. Yosemite National Park in California is home to the tallest waterfall in the United State. Yosemite Creek drops 2,425 feet. How long does it take the water to fall from the top to the bottom?

C. Salto Angel is the world’s highest waterfall, located on the Rio Caroni in Canaima Nat’l Park, Venezuela. If the water of Salto Angel takes 14.17 seconds to complete the plunge, how tall is the waterfall? It’s no fair looking up the answer online; just substitute t = 14.17 in the formula and use it to solve for d.

B approximately 15 seconds
C approximately 2,267 feet.
