Have you been to Haleakala National Park lookout on Maui?

I booked a tour to Haleakala and at first I was very excited I am going there. But after I read the travel advisory that you may experience difficult breathing at such a high altitude I was concerned.

I live on sea level and I have not been at such a high altitude. If you have been up there please share your experience with me and let me know is it that bad?
