Do you believe Governors from across the U.S. will up the ante at the conference at Yale this Friday.?

They’re set to review state-level programs to combat global climate change and to develop a strategy for future action. Do you think their actions will have an impact on the Presidential race?

This meeting is the centenial of a Conference of Governors 100 years ago, that resulted in the groundwork for the National Parks Service and state-protected lands. I’m thinking that the Governors are going to make a statement with their actions, particularly Gov. Schwarzenegger, who is suing the federal government for stymying efforts in California to take action.

I am all for it, at least one is doing something constructive for a change. I think we need more people of that calibre.
