What is the best family campground in Sequoia National Park?

There are so many campgrounds, here is what I am looking for since we will be traveling with little kids: Not too far off the road, not too hot in the middle of summer, easy hiking trails, maybe some swimming (rivers or lakes???), ranger led programs for kids, biking, fishing, other fun activities???

OI! Best to go to Lake Isabella and get the maps from the grocery store on the south side of the lake. You won’t find the most recent one’s online at the Sequoia Park website.

I usually stay out of the Park because it costs $$ if you want a nice campground in Sequioa Forest w/trails try Miracle Springs/Hobo Campgrounds. The campgrounds are right along the Kern River and are very affordable.
