San Francisco to Yosemite — Avoiding the Bridge?

I’ll be vacationing in San Francisco this summer and will be visiting Yosemite National Park. I have to take I-80 East to get to 880. What is the fastest and easiest way to get to Yosemite from SF while avoiding the SF-Oakland Bridge chaos? Thanks!

just quick note, the connector ramp that was damaged will be re-opening for memorial day weekend, one month early.

no need to bypass at all now. It will be open for friday morning commuters on 5/25.
