Why are Americans so hard on themselves?

Americans came up with Rock n Roll, the Internet, cellular technology, mechanical flight, and Gay Pride Parades. Las Vegas, San Francisco, New York City, South Beach and Hollywood. Americans also introduced to the world the national park system, the first national park on earth–Yellowstone. America provides religious liberty to all faiths, and has a university system that is the wonder of the world. Not to mention Americans gave western Europe and Southeast Asia prosperity and liberty to last as long as the inhabitants want it. Americans have been brainwashed by the Left Wing propaganda machine. Really sad that such contributions are either overlooked or attributed to other nations, merely because the Left Wing has a pathological grudge against a nation that embraces individualism as opposed to collectivism.

Because if you don’t challenge yourself to do better you stagnate and become a conservative.
