Any good places to go within 300 mi. of St Louis?

I’m thinking of somewhere in KY or TN or MO. National Parks, lakes, something like that. Wisconsin is a possibility too, but I don’t want to drive too far. Thanks

There are many neat places to go in the Shawnee National Forest in IL. Wineries, horseback riding, hiking, etc. The shawnee wine trail is south of Murpheesboro. Further southeast is the Elizabethtown area, very pretty!
