Am I competitive enough to get into the University of Maryland College Park and Virginia Tech?

I am currently a senior at Damascus High School and I applied to umd and vtech as a mechanical engineering major. Heres what I have:
GPA: 3.52 WGPA: 4.15
SAT: R450 M580 W500
ACT: 24
Clubs/Sport: Student Government: Class Treasurer (9-12), National Honor Society, and Varsity Tennis Team (10th).
Community activities: Participated in Relay for Life (10-12) and Work part-time (11-12).
Heritage: Asian

scores are way too low for UMD. You might have a shot at V-Tech.
