can you swim in the river at yosemite national park?

I thought I read somewhere on the website that you could swim in the river but I’m not sure. Can you?

yes i think…i once went there and we swan in the river behind the cabins….or hotel..lol anyways i sure you can we also jumped off a huge rock into the river!!it was so fun…just watch out i was swimming and a snake swam through my legs!!i pretty sure u can anyway…
