How much longer will the Nationals remain in Washington?

Historically Washington has been unsuccesful keeping a baseball franchise. Former teams were moved to Minnesota and Arlington, Texas.

Nowadays the Nationals are not much better, even the year they moved from Montreal the attendance was ranked 8th out of 16 and when they came to the new park it was 13th in the NL.

Orioles have been affected too, they had the 5th best attendance in the league and it dropped to the 5th worst the year after MLB brought the Nationals. Peter Angelos was right when he voted against the move.

They’ll be there for a number of years. They just built a new ballpark for them.

The law of averages says they have to get better. It may take them as along as the Cubs, but they’ll eventually get better.
