Jobs available for summer employment at Yellowstone National Park?

I am considering applying for a summer position at Yellowstone National Park. I was hoping to apply for a maintenance job but it seems as if you have to be 21 to qualify for a maintenance position. I am currently working at a small pizzeria and have experience as a line cook but never serving more than maybe 15 people a night. Its never really super busy. I would like to work in the food and beverage department but im not sure if I am ready to take on that task and I feel as if working in the house keeping department would be boring.

On top of that I am unclear on how the housing works. Is it offered to all employees or just certain ones?

The Park Service doesn’t do any food and beverage, so you would need to see who the concessionaires are. Try DNC and Xanterra, they are two of the largest concessionaires in the park system, and I think they both have online application processes. But you will need to check and see if there who the concessionaires actually are in Yellowstone. The concessions typically manage their own housing (if there is any inside the park), so you will find out about that in the application process. The Yellowstone Park website may have links to their concessionaires, so you could try that route.
